Eastern Comfort Hostel
Eastern Comfort is a hostel-boat located in the Eastern part of Berlin, just at the border between the districts of Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. A bed in a 4 bed room is likely to cost you appx. €20 for one night.

Alcatraz hostel
Cheap hostel situated right in the heart of trendy Prenzlauer Berg. €13 for a night in a 8 bed dorm.

Jetpack hostels
There are two Jetpacks in Berlin, one in Charlottenburg near to Zoo station and the shopping boulevard of Ku'damm, and the other is out in the woods of Pucklerstrasse. Both come highly recommended; it's hard to find anyone who has a bad thing to say about either hostels. They have won many awards, but it does not cost more than €15 for a bed in a 8 room dorm.

You need some fuel in order to be a tourist in Berlin, here are some inexpensive restaurants and fast food outlets:
1. The Bird
The Bird is an exciting burger restaurant. If you order the 750g burger and manage to eat it you get it for free. Can't get better than that! If not: You have to pay 19 euros for it. It's located at Am Falkplatz 5. If you want something less filling, you can order "normal" burgers for 8-9 euros.

Prater Beergarden at Kastanienallee 7-9, pick up a delicious Bratwurst for 2 euros.
