Do you want to visit Berlin but don't have a bank account overflowing with money? Here's some tips on how to survive on less than €30 a day.
Sleeping: €13

The biggest expense is the bed. Because you have to sleep somewhere! But do not worry, Berlin has plenty of cheap hostels.
A good place to spend your nights is trendy Eastseven Hostel, it's located close to the lively neighbourhoods of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte. A bed in a 6 bed dorm room is likely to cost you €13 during winter months. A bit more during summer.
Breakfast: €1.50
Pick up a bratwurst to get a good start of your day. There are many places you can get a cheap sausage. There are lots of street vendors selling bratwursts around Alexanderplatz train station. This type of breakfast is likely to set you ba

A soup and some bread on the side is a delicious and filling lunch, so why don't you visit trendy Intersoup in Helmholzplatz. The soup will set you back €4.
